Everything you need to know about QuantLogIQ and mutual fund and stock investing.
About QuantLogIQ
QuantLogIQ is an investment analytics platform that aggregates daily NAV data for 10,000+ Indian mutual fund schemes and stock price data for NSE/BSE listed stocks. It provides point-and-figure charting, fund and stock comparison tools, RS Matrix analysis, and publishes independent market research.
Retail investors and traders who want data-driven insight into mutual fund and stock performance using Point & Figure methodology. No financial background required.
NAV data is pulled from the AMFI/mfapi.in feed every day after market close. The daily cron runs automatically to keep all scheme data current.
Mutual Funds Basics
NAV (Net Asset Value) is the per-unit price of a mutual fund scheme. It is calculated daily as: (Total Assets – Liabilities) ÷ Total Units. When you invest, you buy units at the current NAV.
A Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) lets you invest a fixed amount at regular intervals (weekly, monthly) instead of a lump sum. SIPs average out purchase cost over time (rupee cost averaging) and build discipline.
ELSS (Equity Linked Savings Scheme) is a tax-saving mutual fund under Section 80C. It has a 3-year lock-in period — the shortest among 80C instruments — and invests primarily in equities.
The expense ratio is the annual fee charged by the fund house to manage the scheme, expressed as a percentage of AUM. Lower expense ratios (especially in index funds) mean more of the return stays with you.
Using the Platform
Go to Compare in the navigation for either Mutual Funds or Stocks. Select 2 funds or stocks for a ratio P&F chart, or use Multi Compare to rank up to 10 by P&F Buy Signals.
A Point & Figure (P&F) chart filters out time and shows only significant price movements as X-columns (rising) and O-columns (falling). It helps identify trends and support/resistance levels without noise from minor daily moves.
Yes. After logging in, navigate to Watchlist to add and monitor your favourite schemes.
Stocks on QuantLogIQ
Yes. Browse NSE/BSE listed stocks, view individual Point & Figure charts, compare two stocks as a ratio P&F chart, run Multi Compare on up to 10 stocks at once, and analyse relative strength with the Stock RS Matrix.
The RS Matrix compares a group of funds or stocks against each other using P&F relative strength. Every pair is scored: if the ratio is in a column of Xs the higher-priced asset gets a Buy Signal point. The fund or stock with the most Buy Signals wins. Available for both Mutual Funds and Stocks.
Multi Compare lets you select 2–10 funds or stocks and ranks them by P&F Buy Signals. Unlike a simple price comparison, the winner is the asset that outperforms the most opponents on a ratio P&F chart — not necessarily the highest-priced one.
