Quant Logiq ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. Who We Are

Quant Logiq is an investment analytics platform providing NAV data, stock price data, mutual fund and stock research, charting tools, and financial market insights. We are accessible at https://quantlogiq.in/. For privacy-related queries, contact us at admin@quantlogiq.in.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate and improve our platform:

  • Account Data: Name, email address, and hashed password when you register.
  • Profile Data: Optional fields such as username or display name.
  • Watchlist & Preferences: Mutual fund schemes and stocks you save or track.
  • Contact Submissions: Email address, subject, and message when you use our contact form.
  • Usage & Log Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, and referral URLs — collected automatically by our server.
  • Cookie Data: Session tokens and theme preference stored in cookies to keep you logged in and remember your settings.

We do not collect payment information, Aadhaar numbers, PAN, or any government-issued identity data.

3. Financial Data — Important Note

NAV data, stock price data, scheme metadata, and fund/stock information displayed on Quant Logiq is sourced from publicly available feeds (AMFI via mfapi.in for funds; market data feeds for stocks). This data is not linked to your personal profile and is the same data available to anyone. We do not build individual investment profiles from your browsing activity.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate your account and maintain your session.
  • To save and display your watchlist, fund, and stock preferences.
  • To respond to contact form submissions and support requests.
  • To analyse aggregate usage trends and improve platform performance.
  • To send transactional emails (password reset, email verification) — we do not send marketing emails without your consent.
  • To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive use of the platform.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to operate the platform: session authentication cookies and a theme preference cookie. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party behavioural analytics cookies.

You may disable cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will log you out of your account, but browsing of public fund data will remain unaffected.

6. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Data is shared only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Hosting provider: Our server infrastructure provider processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
  • Email delivery: Transactional emails are sent via our configured SMTP provider.
  • Legal obligation: We may disclose data if required by Indian law, court order, or lawful authority request.

7. Data Security

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All connections to Quant Logiq are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel only. Despite these measures, no internet transmission is 100% secure — we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

8. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law. Server log files are retained for up to 90 days for security purposes.

9. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

  • Access a summary of your personal data we hold.
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Erasure of your personal data (right to be forgotten), subject to legal obligations.
  • Withdraw consent at any time — withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.
  • Nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
  • Grievance redressal — contact us at admin@quantlogiq.in. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy

Quant Logiq is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with their data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via a notice on the platform or by email to registered users. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
